Our Dometic 310 finally wore out after at least eight years of full time use and I just replaced it with a new one. The manual that came with it says DO NOT REMOVE THE PEDAL, among other warnings.

Confirming what Rohrmann says, the ball isn't designed for part replacement. When I called Dometic, they said I needed a full replacement.

The bright side of this was that I finally made the move from the 310 to the 320. SO happy!

At a reasonable price ($221 when I bought it) I would just replace the toilet…two bolts, one supply line, another 10 years of happiness.
