Florida RV Supershow, Tampa FL....
I know we talked about this in an earlier post but I wanted to update everyone interested.
The show runs Wednesday through Sunday, January 12-16, 2005, Adults: $8.00 for a 2-Day Pass.
It appears the best day would be Friday the 14th, we all meet at the Montana booth at 3PM.
As it would be nice if we had a general idea of who will be there please reply.

Tom & I are headed south to our Monty in Crystal River. We will plan to meet up with other MOC members on Friday at the Tampa Show. Thanks for the update Glen. Ohiocamper, we were in Pataskala (suburb of Columbus) with daughter and family on Christmas day. They finally got their power back today after 7 days without electricity due to the ice storm. Fortunately they had a small generator and were able to stay in the house. Good luck on your trip back. Drive safely

I have never stayed on the east side of Tampa so I realy can't give you an honest recommendation. Here is a short list of parks in the immediate area but don't be surprised if they are already full.
Happy Traveler RV Park ---Passport America park
Spanish Main RV Resort---Passport America park
Southern Aire RV Resort--- The Florida Boomers use this park for their annual January rally.
RallyPark This park is part of the Lazydays RV complex. Besides the park and RV sales and service, the complex has a Camping World, a Cracker Barrel and a Flying J.
There is also dry camping on the Florida State Fairgrounds property but I would have no idea who to contact.
2 parks that I would stay away from are Camp Nebraska RV Park in Tampa and Alafia River RV Resort in Riverside.
If you can't find anything let me know as the park we are in could possibly have a vacancy. But try the others first as the park we are in will have you traveling thru the center of Tampa on I-4 and I-275. Believe me you don't want to use these 2 hiways if you can avoid them.

Glenn. We have never been to the Tampa show. Would you happen to have the exact address and zip code where the show will be held? I can put it in my handy dandy route maker and maybe get there Friday with out getting lost ..
Thanks

Here's a link.... http://www.frvta.org/supershow/index.shtml
It is very easy to get to, You'll be heading south on I-75 to I-4. Take I-4 west maybe a mile to the 1st exit (Exit 7) than take 301 south. The fairgrounds entrance is on the right maybe a quarter mile south of I-4.
If you use Microsoft Streets and Trips it will not show an entrance to the fairgrounds off of 301 but it is there and it is the easiest one to get in and out of.

John, Email is on the way.
I'm still hoping you two can make the show again this year. If not I guess we will have to either drive up to you or you drive down here. We'll talk later.

Bill, With any luck at all you shouldn't be more than 2 hours away.
I would imagine we will still be hanging around checking out all the new Montanas and I believe they will also have the new Cambridge there.
