Corian Counter tops

We have a 2011 Montana with the dark Corian counter tops. They are really a mess. There are scratches all over. There are only two adults in our camper and we aren’t careless. Does anyone else have this problem?

4papa here are some tips for maintenance of your countertop finish these are for avanite but all solid serfaces are the same.

the 3M scotch pads will also help to remove scratches and use a random orbit sander at medium speed.

Thanks for the suggestion, Phil. We had scratches in our countertop at delivery and Keystone authorized our dealer to have a company come out and refinish them. My guess is they did it with the pads like Phil's post suggested. We keep those rubberized runners that keep things from slipping on our countertops to lay stuff on in the trailer now.

We found that the bottoms of the corean sink covers are quite abrasive. If these covers are left on the counter top they will scratch them.

As soon as it warms up a bit more here I plan on trying that 400 and then 600 grit sandpaper. We have done the 3M pad thing and are now looking to get a more polished look back into the corian. Thanks for the link Don.

Ours still look good but we're careful not to put anything directly on the counter top that may scratch it.

Same here...these solid surface counters look good, but you need to take care with them...throwing your tool box on top of them is likely to cause damage!
