It's called museum putty or earthquake putty. I know hardwares and Home Depot,Lowes carry it in California, don't know about where you are. It works good

I have used the blue stuff and it works well. There is also a product, museum putty, with the name Quakehold available from Amazon.com, among others http://www.amazon.com/Quakehold-88111-Museum-Putty/dp/B0002VA9NA

Have also found a product from super glue available at Micheals and it is yellow. Just remember that if you spend a fair amount of time in dry climate over the years it does dry out and you need to replace it. Also for mounting light pictures and hanging items 3M makes a great selection of command hooks avialable at wal-mart, ace, home depot and they are great. They even make hooks that I have mounted for hanging kitchen towels and they are removeable.

Tell the DW that you can't have knick knacks because of weight issues. Worked for me.
Until we got weighed and found ourselves about 1000 lbs. under.

Hey pbahlin,
You need to save that margin for when you fill your tanks and need to drive to a dump station. You temporarily remove 1/2 ton of knick knacks from your rig at the campsite, so you can then go dump the tanks. Hopefully, you remember to go back to the campground to get them.

Try Industrial Strength Velcro. It is 2 inch wide and available at most Wal-marts. We are on our second roll...
