New Montana Owner

Hi!
So we pick up our 3791RD tomorrow. I never thought I'd get a rig this big, but we figured why not? 😊
For now we will do mostly weekend trips, but when our youngest graduates in 2 years; my husband and I will be going full-time.
Can't wait to live on the open road!

First of all Welcome to the MOC Forum and secondly Congratulations on the new rig. You have found a great place to learn about your new Monte. If you haven't already done so, make sure you print out at least one of the PDI (Predelivery Inspection)lists here on the Forum BEFORE you go to pick your new unit up. It breaks down what to look for while going through you new unit BEFORE you sign the papers. Don't let the salesperson, manager, owner or technician hurry you through your inspection and if you don't understand what they have told you ASK them the explain it or go into more detail. If they refuse to do so, DON'T sign any papers until they explain things completely and you understand what they have told you. If possible, film the whole PDI and if they don't want you to do this because it takes to long DON'T SIGN the papers until the agree to it and you are completely satisfied with understanding how and why things operate in the unit. In most cases a salesman cannot answer most questions about a unit. He knows the basics as to size, some of the operating procedure but normally they are there to sell you something and will tell you anything to make that sale. If they say you can pull the unit with any size truck turn around and walk because that is not try with a Montana. Hope I haven't scared you but just trying to put the facts out there for you! Good luck and don't forget to ask questions both at the dealership and also here on the Forum. You WILL get straight answers here on the Forum from the experts-- actual Montana Owners! Hope to meet you in the future and enjoy that new Montana!

Congratulations on your new Montana from WA. The RD is getting pretty popular, so you will get lots of good feedback on it. Really good support here.
