All great suggestions. We have the Rhino system with the extra 10
ft. section, the clear 45 degree at the start and the slide gate to prevent that nasty mess after taking off cap (no more cap now). Has to be a good system for all the people who use it.

I am not sure about this may be just an internet rumor but it has been said that no cap on sewer pipe will get you a ticket from CHP. Anyone know if this is true or is it just a Kalifornia rumor?

Bio hazard containment has a federal law not sure how its spelled out but the penalty can be stiff. but i also hear states have there own as well on top of that.

I went with the Lippert cam lock system. I've never been a fan of the bayonet connections, you're always putting a twisting motion on the O ring elevating the possibility of leaks. The cam lock system compresses the rubber to seal. I think the RV industry is the only industry that still uses the bayonet system, likely because it's cheaper. If you look at all the commercial liquid transporters they all use the cam lock system. The initial cost is a little more but the ease of putting the drain hose on and off and the reliability is really worth it.

Sewer hose slope

Have often wondered about the need for the proper slope of the hose. If you have good hoses and no leaks what difference does it make if some sewage is standing in the hose just another trap in the drain

You want slope to move solids along. Sure don't want them just sitting, since they may not be easy to get moving again.
Don't forget a box of the nitrile gloves from Harbor Freight.

Rhino as well. About 3 years old. Clear elbow is at the drain. One day I'll need a new one. Yes with the slinky and yes with the end valve.

Rino and you must have a cap on your sewer connection. Slope of sewer hose is important we have been in freezing -8 temps no slope sewer froze in pipe. Threw hose away and purchased another. Now correct slope no freeze up and all is good.
