3400RL owners, I have a measurement question:

I have a '13 model and I have a measurement question: I need the measurement of the gap between the very back wall and the slides, when they are closed. I need to buy 2 new recliners, and that space back there are where they will be riding while going down the road. I would measure my own, but it is in storage 350 miles from me.
I have some recliners in mind, but they are 35" wide, and I'm not certain I have 35" of space back there without blocking the slide travel. Thanks in advance!

I measure 37.5 inches from wall to Slide edge. This from the edge of the fascia board to the wall. This would be the measurement I'd be concerned with as it will be the narrow point during slide operation. OEM chairs are roughly 36 inches deep so 35 should be fine.

I can't help you out with exact measurements, first of all we don't have a 3400RL anymore, secondly our similar model is stored 1330 miles away. But that being said, when we were shopping for replacement Lazy Boy recliners there were only one or two of the smaller models that would fit. The width measurement is what we were going by for when we had to turn them sideways for pulling slides in.

Surely someone who is staying in their 3400 currently will chime in with that depth measurement.

We don't have a 3400RL, but DW and I bought replacement recliners.
We choose the Lazy Boy 'Pinnacle' series because it was closest to the OEM size. The salesman said its the smallest Lazy Boy. The Lazy boys were more comfy and we happily discovered they were lighter too. the dimensions given by Lazy Boy are:

Body Depth: 38.5
Body Height: 41.0
Body Width: 33.0

Our 09 3400RL measures 37.5 inches between the slide edge and rear wall.
Both entertainment and living room slides measure the same distances from the rear wall.

As with Kampn - I think ours was 33 inches wide. We have a Mountaineer not Montana tho.

Perfect! Thank you all! I got two owners stating they have 37.5" on their 3400RLs, so I'm now confident the 35" wide recliners I'm looking at will fit where they need to. I'm going to take the factory supplied chairs and burn the darn uncomfortable beasts! (Kidding, but I'd like to...)
Next, the equally uncomfortable sleeper bed/couch abomination!

Another consideration could be home theatre seating if you could find some thing that would fit and was not too deep.

We also have the Lazyboy Pinnacle recliners. Very comfortable. We put our couch at the end of the trailer and put the recliners where the couch originally was. Our slides clear the couch by about 1/2".
