Poor Sue....

I pulled into the Temple View C.G. here in St. George, 5th wheels parked in outgoing lane, 5th wheel parked by office, I had to turn right, sharp turn under any circumstance, but with 1/2 the lanes taken, when I turned sharp, the bikes rubbed up against one of the sitting 5ers, (a Montana) bent her wheel on the bicycle. Need to find a Shriners parade and ride the wobble wheeled bike in it.
I asked the Monte owner if it damaged his rig, he said no damage.
The bike is fixable... Sue is happy I won't be dragging her along on bike rides for a while.

Al and Nita, Sue is so sweet, she never complains about anything, but I know she is a happy she can get to the sweater she is knitting when I ride my bike.
Thanks Stiles. I was a bit nervous, pressure from the rig right behind me. I was ignoring the small voice in the back of my head that was telling me to get out and check the back about half-way into the turn. I can't see the bikes, they are shorter than the width of the unit. Live and learn, could have been much worse.

Sounds like a rearview camera addition mod is in the works?? I do know that on ours, everything including the bikes are visible. Just a thought!

I think that may have been my very first Mod, but I have the camera tilted more to the road, I could try and tilt it down further and see if that works. Thanks for bringing that up, I'll play with the angles.

I think I'm picturing this correctly, but is this a "tail swing" related problem? Is a new front wheel all that is needed for her bicycle? Not bad. I hope those beers in your sig weren't involved. LOL.

My tail swing experience was worse, but worked out okay, since the dude's car I hit was parked way beyond where he was allowed and shouldn't have been there and I put a small dent in his car. However, this is no excuse for what I did. I provided my information and asked him to get me a quote, but he did warn me that he didn't care to and the old beater car was just gonna get replaced anyway since the other side was way more damaged and I only dented the car just a little bit. He never did call me so I'm guessing I got lucky (It's been over 2 years and he still has my information - I've got 5 more years to go, eh?).

Well, Ozz, that brings back memories of our visit to Temple View in St. George a year or so ago (we coming back from California). I backed up to fit into the site they assigned us, turned too sharply and drove my front pickup wheel over a very low, and not visible, water faucet. Created a little geyser and they had to move us. They were very nice about it and we enjoyed the overnight stay there.

They are nice, but when they built this park, the rigs were much smaller, TIGHT spaces and streets.
