Very funny, We found Nebraska not to have good cell service for Verizon customers, and very few campgrounds. been there once to see relitives, stayed a 4 days in a city park with water and electrict.
Not bashing your state so dont get mad at me.

That's not all we have here in Nebraska, just a warm up to what you can see here. Come join us at the MOC Central Plains Regional Rally, July 13th-18th at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground just off I-80 at exit 420 between Omaha and Lincoln. Ask those that attended last years Rally what else they got to see and do and we didn't even scratch the surface. Watch for more postings on the CPRR coming soon!!
Dave-- There's no Amway Salesman in me but there is some Government experience!
Hey Phil-- the video didn't mention the Testical Festival which is held just about 5-7 miles from Pine Grove. Come on up and "Enjoy The Good Life" as our signs and ads say! Heck, we even have the old SAC Museum here which is just down I-80 from the Rally too.
Don-- Come on out for the CPRR and I'll personally show you there are other things to see and do AND I'll show you some really great campgrounds all the way from privately owned to State and Local campgrounds!

Thanks for the invite Rondo, we will have to make it another time the price of fuel has put the brakes on our travels far away, we will be staying close to home untill things settle down, we have a membership park 70 miles from our home we can stay a month at a time jump out for 10 days and do it all over again 2 moer times.

If any of you ever go to Nebraska Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Nebraska is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed.
If any of you make the Rally you will meet some of the MOC groupes finest. We had a great time last year and would go again, but this year we will be staying closer to home.

Jerry-- Well now you know what just some of the things that are around Nebraska besides the other places that have mentioned in this thread. Why not come on out to the CPRR and see what we have to offer! We're hoping to make the Mid-Atlantic Rally if we can and the price of diesel doesn't get to high between now and then.

Just yanking Paul's chain Rondo, see u guys in Carolina - as to the Nabrasky rally we did four rallys last year and are cutting back to two this year. Like you said diesel is putting a crimp on a lot of folk's plans.

My father was stationed at McCook AAFB during part of WWII and while there my parents decided to have me. I always wanted to go see where I was born and after
hearing what you people have said I know that I am going to do that...hopefully in the within the next few years. Thanks for the information.

Stationed there at Silver Creek just outside of Columbus. Great pheasant and deer hunting. Caught all the fish I needed too. Our youngest son was born in York, Ne. Will be back for a visit someday when we go fulltiming. Hopefully, this year....
