5th Airborne pin box

I have installed the 5th airborne pin box, and am looking into buying a air compressor. How much air pressure does the pin box need in a round about figure? Looking at the pancake electric air compressor at harbor frieght that does 115 lbs of pressure. Enough for the trailer and hauler tires and hopefully enough for the pin box. I'm betting it is, but have not yet hooked it up to the trailer to find out how much it needs.

Thanks in advance!
Dave

I have a portable 12 volt comp rated at 115psi, the pin box normally holds about 35 to 40 on my rig, no problem with the compressor you have selected. I have a big compressor for the tires but in an emergency the 12volt will work.

I never checked the pressure in mine. But my 12v compressor pumps it up to the line very quickly. And it takes forever to add a few pounds to my tires.

Depends on your ride as to the amount of air pressure. I have a trail air and they have a line on the shock asorber to indicate proper inflation. Mine usually runs around 75 to 80 psi. That pancake compressor should work just fine.

Same here...you might want to check the instructions that came with the pin box, they will give you the max pressure you can put in it.
