Draining Water From Toppers - Hydraulic Levelers

Seems that 5ers and others are coming out with hydraulic levelers, a nice touch. I'm not sure if your manual states it or not, but one way to ensure there is no water on your topper is to lower or raise a side, using the levelers and let the water drain. Only takes a little bit of a dip to drain.

For those with the mechanical front leg jacks, you could lower or rais the front a little and get the same affect.

Just a thought!

We have a 5th wheel that has the Hydraulic jacks (6) which has the side to side leveling and I must say its very impressive. Thats correct you can lower the 5er to get it to drain the toppers. However after having 3 5th wheels with the toppers we decided against them on our 5er. We just think their more problem than their worth. But will add them later if we see the need. After spending time in the RGV and Arizona the noise from the wind is very annoying, and the water issue on the super slides we have now would be a large problem. GBY....
