Closet Dimensions (W/D)

I mentioned this on another thread and it got buried, so I thought I'd start a new thread. We have a 3400RL on order. It appears nobody uses the standard household/apartment stackable washer/dryer (GE and Kenmore)...but the more expensive models found in CW and camping supply stores (Splendide and Majestic). Is that because the standard models do not fit? Does anybody happen to know the dimensions of the W/D closet on the 3400RL? Thanks.

There are lots of MOCers that have the stackable units. I know of one in particular that did the install himself. See the topic below:

The W/D closet on my '05 3400RL is 24" wide x 26" deep x 81' tall.

I've been waiting to hear from Steve, AKA(pep1977) how it's all working out for him.

Thanks, I know Kenmore makes one that is 24" wide...be a tight fit.
