Happy Camper Club

Does anyone have any experience with the 'Happy Camper Club'. They seem to have a reasonable membership fee for staying at half price at all participating RV campgrounds. The list of campgrounds seems pretty extensive i all states. Thanks.

I have both Happy Camper and Passport America. In my book Passport America is much better and costs less. I will not be renewing the Happy Camper when it expires.

I joined Happy Camper. We are in one of their campgrounds right now. Beautiful campground. Evergreen Lake Park in Conneaut, Ohio.
Almost have my membership back. They've added a lot of new campgrounds.

we were in Happy Camper for 2 years and were never able to use it ... the times we tried we found the campgrounds were still in their literature but no longer members or they had restrictions (no holidays) that wouldn't work for us ... we are no longer members

All of these cut rate camping clubs have camogrounds that have restriction. If they can fill on the weekend they do not want to give you a half price spot. Some you have to stay for two days.I have passport, good sam, aor, coast to coast, almost all have campgrounds with restrictions. We travel a lot and do a lot of planing. If you call to get a spot make sure you make them give you a reservation no. and get the name of the person you talked to,so when you arrive you do not get the"well we dont have any record of you calling".
