Retiring May 20

LaVonne is retiring May 20 from 41 years of in home DAYCARE, I know she will miss the kids & I also. We're getting the camper ready for a trip West not too far, should be back about five days. We have some weddings to attend, kids she had in daycare. It's time to retire when the second generation is coming now. Catch you later. Larry & LaVonne

Yes, congratulations. It's a wonderful state to be in, but let me assure you that they knew what they were doing when they put the 'tired' in retired. Glen and I have been busy during the last 7 weeks, partly by design. Retired, tired, but lovin' it. Safe travels.

Congrats and enjoy. But you soon won't consider yourself retired. You will be busier than ever.

Congratulations! Enjoy the travels. Know you'll miss them but we bet those kids and their parents are sad to see you go.

Congratulations on retirement. Time passes so quickly and you keep so busy! Pretty soon you will be wondering how you ever did all you did when you were working, raising family, etc. Enjoy the new adventure.

Forty one years is a monumental time working with children! I would say this is a well deserved retirement! Enjoy it!

Congratulations on retirement. It is wonderful to be able to have travels in your future plans. The rig looks nice. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

To all who replied

Thanks so much to all who took the time to reply to my retirement. I never thought it would be this tough to hug those little ones good-bye and the Mommies were more difficult yet. Physically I feel great but we do not know what the future holds and want to see the country and have the "time for each other". I'm not worried about finding things to do, every woman knows the work we do, needs to be done all over in a few days! Thanks again for the congrats and happy and safe travels to you all. LaVonne Hummel
