According to the 2004 option list that I have the shower was an option then. Also I looked at the option list of our 2000 2750RK and it was an option then.
What I did find that Keystone did different on the 2005s was that the recliner chairs that were previously an option were made standard equipment with no increase in the base price of the units. The day night shades and 15000BTU air conditioning were also made standard rather than options. Keystone issued a letter to the dealers in Dec to advise them of this change. There were a couple of increases in option prices..namely the dual pane windows and gel coat.

Chester, I wonder how many dealers used the older order form and still charged extra for those items.

We used ours on our small TT (tent trailer) to shower or just wash our hair and save filling up the tanks when we are with out hook up. Also have used it to cool down when camping in the desert at 110 deg. and no AC. Wow, was that fun?

We also love our outdoor shower for washing the dogs, washing after grey and black water dumps and washing anything that is just toooooo dirty to take inside ie. the barbeque grill. Wouldn't be without one now!

We love our outside shower too. Dick mountain bikes and this has helped a time or two when he came home from a few falls down the mountains.
I also use it often to wash dishes outside. When we can I always cook outside and wash the dishes too. It really comes in handy for cleaning the Coleman Road Trip Grill components and the grease tray.
I would think it would be a selling point in the future if you ever decide to upgrade.

We knew someone who used their outside shower when he accidentally got a little sewage all over his shoes and legs one time. Then it came in handy for sure he said.

This is the best dog washer I have ever known - esp if she decides to roll in something unsavory! I don't wash her at home all summer.

We use ours to keep peace while boondocking with friends. A few times a year a group of 5 to 20 folks (friends and neighbors) camp out at a buddy's semi-unimproved land. Before I started taking the 5er, we would all stand under the cold (kinda stinky) well-water hose for a quick de-griming. Of course, once I started bringing the trailer, everyone wanted a soft bed and hot shower. As you all know, an RV sleeps 2!!! However, if used judiciously, everyone can now have a pretty decent outdoor shower every day or two without filling up my gray tank. Since I carry a filter and pressure regulator, we can refill the freshwater tank with relatively good water from the well as necessary (we've found the filter does a nice job of reducing the odor and taste issues).

It also comes in very handy during times city water is not available, or there is a ban on sewer use, Think Hurricanes here, and you need access to out side water to spare your tanks and sharing with neighbors. Like the neigbors next to me during Hurricane Charley in the Sunnybrook TT with it's water storage tanks converted to storage.
i still can't figure that one out.

we use ours here and there, but the one time it was a must, we were camping at a lake and the kids were playing in muck! you know that really dark black filthy muck....well the kids had it CAKED in their hair and there was no way they wanted any part of a cold hose! at that moment....the optional price didn't matter anymore!
it's not used much, but well worth it if you need it!

We use the outside shower at campgrounds where we need to clean our feet before coming into the camper such as when we are at the beach. We clean our feet and what ever needs showering then hit the grandkids (legs, feet) before allowing them to enter the camper. We keep a lot of sand out of the camper that way!

I also have a small matt of indoor outdoor carpet for rinsing off and keeping the toes off the ground. Rinse off the feet and flip flops. Like others have stated washing up after dumping tanks and after hooking and unhooking sewer hose. Cheap Gloves have had punctures in the past.
I wouldn't be without one. NOT after having/using one. I think you will too.
I've been thinking of some outside support (similar to the grab handle for the steps, hung horizontaly) for a non transparent shower curtian. Just for those dry camping trips to the races with friends in tent trailers.
But solar showers and baby wipes have been sufficient before being totally self contained.
If the ticket prices don't stop increasing, I may stop going. Time to get satellite TV. It'll be cheaper in the long run.

Our outdoor shower is used by our kids (young adults) after they return from a day of ATV riding or paintball wars. It's very handy for getting the initial layer of mud or paintball paint off of you before taking a real shower inside. This past Thanksgiving we put up a tarp to make a shower enclosure so that all the folks camped in tents with us on our property could shower. It worked out great and most of all the kids loved it.

I agree they do come in handy. But one word of caution, when you winterize your rig don't forget to go out side and open the shower valve to get antifreeze into the outside shower head. Believe me I forgot about mine one year and they do freeze and break. The following spring I couldn't understand why my pump wouldn't shut off, heard a noise outside, checked it out and had water comming out the outside shower door. Lucky no damage.

uhftx, could you be a NASCAR fan? We ordered our new camper with generator for attending future races. We have never taken a camper to one in the past. Usually attend those within a days doing by either charter bus or stay at son's half way between here and Martinsville.
