good rv park near little bighorn

Stayed for couple days at 7th Ranch rv camp near garryowen, montana to tour the little bighorn battlefield. Good park to stay in. Will definately stay there again. Battlefield is still as it was on june 1876 when one of my ancesters had the misfortune to be assigned to lt col custer. John

Have you seen the museum in Cody Wy? They have a beautiful painting of the battle. You might find your ancestor old Custer sticks out like a sore thumb.

There were two re-enactment when we were there. It was worth seeing both of them. The Native American one is on the Little Bighorn.

Will be there in Aug. for a couple of days-last visit was with family in a 1960 LowLiner 15' TT. I think we stayed at Crow Agency.

Seen some of the painting surrounding last stand hill. My ancestor was major marcus albert reno. He was the one custar sent into the southern part of the camp. Matter of fact, he was the only one to go into the village. Escaped to save little more than half his men. But then, custer was always "devil may care" in his strategies...even civil war. John
