2005 model

I have a 2003 3655FL which I like very much. My local dealer has a 2005 3650RK in the show room. Since mine was equipped with most all options, I did not find any big improvements, but did like the floor plan. In this forum I have read of many "new 2005 troubles". Overall I am sure that those that do not have troubles don't tend to report it. Comments are welcome as to quality of the 2005's.

we have new 2005 3685FL no magor problems at all. Only problem we had is tith the termostat not keeping correct temp inside the coach. Overall it's a great unit workmanship seems to be fine. Happy with ours.

We have the 2005 3400 and are very happy with it. Of course we haven't yet had a lot of rain. But the one storm we did have, we didn't have any leaks. After reading all the problems with axles, I was glad we have the 2005 because they changed the axles. I'm sure any new year has improvements over previous years and every year will have some problems.

Not having any trouble with my oldie. The alko axles have been good so far but my rig is a lot lighter than the new ones. No leaks even through two hurricanes in the last few months. I am only 10.5k fully loaded.

Rperry, I think you're right. We don't tend to post our good experiences with new rigs, just bad experiences. Plus, bugs are usually found in the newer ones. By the time they're older, they're pretty well sorted out. One thing you probably picked up on in this forum is how Keystone stands behind their units. That's a very nice thing to know when problems do crop up. Sometimes dealers can cause problems so if any time you feel your dealer is not providing the correct answers, call Keystone and see if they agree.

Quality of the 2005's remains to be seen as it always does with new models. If it helps, we recently toured the factory and were impressed. And we just came yesterday from an appt with Keystone and they treated us well. Ours is a 2003 model.

We have a 3650 rk with a step down kitchen and really love it. We are very satisfied with this unit, best we have ever had so far. When we ordered it we expected a 2004 and received a 2005 ! Changes that we noticed was a 1/2 time oven with convection (which I have learned to use and was very surprised to see how well it works), we added two stools to the island in the kitchen. We also added a second fantastic fan in the bedroom because in Canada you must have an emergency exit in the bedroom thus reducing the number of windows that open.

That statement puzzles me. We live in Ontario and our bedroom window serves as an emergency exit, but it opens as well. We use it often. It is an awning type window that hinges at the top and opens from the bottom. Is yours different from that? P.S. Nothing wrong with have a Fantastic fan in the bedroom, I'm just curious if you have something different than we do. (I think it is something common to all 5ers, not just Canadian ones).
