That is neat but I imagine that the cost won’t justify the needs! Anyway where would you store something like that? I doubt there would be enough room in the truck bed for that and then how would you get it in & out?

Seems like an interesting product, but I have to wonder about all of that weight on those two small tires...and the demo shows it moving on a paved surface...wonder how it would work off road??? Was neat to watch.

I got a response from them, and here is the info......but I have to email them back re weight of the fiver, number of axles and weight rating, tire size and distance from center to center of axle hubs, which I'll send. This makes me think they are safety and fit conscious.

Cost. 400 series will lift 14,500 lbs $6900 plus frieght.
600 series...........18,500.....$7800..............
Modified 600...............24,000....$9200..............Wow , expensive, but I wonder what the cost would be if they have a multiple order of 100+?

Surely none of our MOC members are REALLY interested in having such a device. While it would be nice to have such capability I cannot imagine EVER getting into a situation that would actually require the use of such a device. There would be a weight issue, a where would you carry it issue and last and certainly not the least issue would be the cost of such a device.

I just cannot imagine any of the MOCers I know ever needing such a device. But to each his own. It is fun to see such a thing. Dennis

I believe that it is mounted on the 5er so you don't have to store it.

I was blocked in at our storage area a few years ago. I could back up the trailer and truck far enough to have the truck clear the bumper of the motorhome that was blocking me, but could not make a tight enough turn to get the trailer out.The storage company clerks wife called her husband who was an 18 wheeler driver. He told me to drop the front jacks and unhitch the truck. Then I oriented the truck so that it was perpendicular to the trailer and rehitched.With a ton of screeching and ground off rubber I managed to get the rig out. Not a pretty scene, but it did work.The next week we moved to a better organized storage area.
