Will the madness end?

This is not a political post. Regardless of party or side, I will be so glad when next Tuesday gets here. I am so sick of hearing these ads. Bring back the KFC and McDonalds ads. I am ready to listen to amateurish auto dealer ads. These ads are worse than the personal product ads that plague late night TV. And to think, we start all over in about a year.

How about all those phone calls even though we are on the DO NOT call list?!?!?! We are at the stick house now and the recorded phone calls are driving me crazy.

We use our DVR and record our regular programs thereby fast forwarding thru most of these tasteless ads. I, too, will be glad when it's over.........

We are from Missouri, but are in Texas and am so tired of the Governor's race down here it isn't funny. I know who I would like to see get back in, but good grief, this seems to be the worst year we've ever seen for mud slinging. I'm glad we voted 3 weeks ago.

Its sad that these awful ads make one want to watch all those bad car dealer ads that used to run before the economic meltdown.I agree the e-trade ads are the best!!

Thanks for DVRs and Caller-id!!!! We rarely watch live TV and consequently skip most of the commercials. And Caller-id (which I resisted for a long time) is invaluable. If I don't recognize you, I don't answer. We are averaging 20-30 robo-calls a day. Next Tuesday it will revert to the normal 3-5 calls from friends.

V-I-L-E ??

Agree, yaaaa for mute buttons, only trouble is, the show starts back up, and I miss the first 10 minutes, ohhhh, time for another commercial, don't un-mute yet, 10 minutes later, another commercial, missed the show again. Oh, just turn it off!

I wish we had political campaigns like in England -- they last 6 weeks. When we lived there, we loved that it was over so soon. This 2 years of campaigning is draining!

Sure glad we took out the house phone it’s been so quite at diner time. I think they could save a small forest and the mail persons back if they just stayed with the on air adds and quit sending all of the flyers in the mail that I just throw out and never look at anyway.
