Infomercials
So now we can’t even crack an egg without mechanical help. One of the infomercial’s, from one of Ron Popei’sl clones, is hawking the EZ Cracker, my Grandmother is turning over in her grave.
I love the dramatic wincing and throwing up of hands shown by the actors trying to crack an egg the ‘old fashion‘ way. Then the: “It’s just amazing! But wait! There’s more! You would expect to pay…. Call now and receive…. You get not one, but two….. Have that credit card ready!”
Come on, folks cracking and egg is not Rocket Science.
It will just end up with that Chicken roaster and the Pocket fisherman. Oh, and that juicer.

FYI, did you know that if you place a raw egg in between the palms of your hands, interlock your fingers and apply pressure from end to end without applying pressure on the sides…you cannot break the egg!
Trust me go ahead & try it!
Well at least I can’t.

Jim, you need two for two eggs over easy!!!! I like the one that scrambles the egg in the shell, I just don't know how to get some milk in the egg first, let alone salt and pepper!!!!!! I just wonder how many people buy these things.

They must do well, I understand it is very expensive to get an infomercial on the air.
Now we have that Blitz=hacker deal, that chops up stuff in a little cup when you push down the top. It is the second time around for that one.

When I was just a kid, I tried to sell Cutco knives, really a good product, still selling today, but had to go into homes and demo them.
I had this toothy fast talker that was training me.
I still have nightmares about that. (My sister still has one of the only sets I sold to anyone...)

So timely! I was thinking this morning how simple and pleasant my life would be if only I would buy a "Slap-Chop"! and the purchase would almost be worth it because I could say I own a "Gratey" Just the name puts me in a good mood.
