Dometic Vacuum Bags?

Where do you get them? The bag model is #3309579.005

I could not find them at CW, or Wally world. Google wasn't any help either.

...is there another brand that would work?

Thanks.

I got mine at CW a year ago. Have you contacted a store directly?

Robbie,
In another thread Ontmont says;

The Dometic vacuum was always an Intervac in disguise. Dometic no longer carry them, but you can order bags and all other accessories directly from InterVac Designs. Try www.intervacdesign.com

I believe our ol pal Sue aka...Parrothead has the skinny on the bags. I am sure she will be along shortly with a good answer for replacement bags.

Just had a topic on this a couple weeks ago, Robbie. Might want to do a search and see what comes up.

Colleen, I bought my last ones there too, but they are no longer offered online.

Charlie, thanks, that web address was exactly what I needed. I had model 9192200 Dometic vacuum cleaner. It uses the Intervac Y05-5 as a replacement hepa bag. The cost is $15.75 for 5 bags and replacement filters for the machine. http://tinyurl.com/4sbyny

David, thanks, just seemed to have trouble with my ability to work the search, another try and it worked fine. See what happens when I get behind reading posts on the MOC...?

Thanks all, case solved.

Robbie, why didn't you ask me when you were parked behind us? Be sure to get the package that has the filters because you need them. 5 bags for $15.75 is more expensive than the 10 pack bag for $20.00+ that everyone was complaining about CW - go figure!
Happy trails............................

Sue,

First of all, I had no idea that I needed them when I was parked behind you.........and you forgot to tell me to check my supply!!

I originally bought a 3-pack at CW...lasted almost 2+ years (we take our shoes off outside), so, if you can come up with a cheaper alternative, at the present rate, we'll be able to buy 10 more in another 2-1/2 years, those will last us close to 20 years! In 22-1/2 years, we'll be looking for a new bargain....hoping for an inexpensive maid instead.

Now, at the present cost of diesel...lets see, how much do those bags weigh?...ooops got side-track.....

Secondly, Thank you for all that you have done for the MOC, you are very appreciated by us for your hard work and dedication. You, and people like you is the reason the MOC is a success.

Sorry we missed you when we departed at Siskiyou. Hope to C'Ya down the road.

Somebody said awhle back they found the Dirt Devil bags fit. And are available at Walmart. I don't recall the stock numbers. We bought a package but have not yet needed to try them so I cannot confirm they'll work.

Like Robbie's experience, these bags seem to last a long time. This Montana will be two years old in three months and we're on the second bag.

LOL, Steve, they do last a long time, unless you have a yellow lab that sheds 24/7/365 then they last about a month which is way longer than any upright bag we ever had lasted. After that they start to smell so it is time to change. We got luck at the CW in Savannah, they had two bags of ten vacuum bags for 10.00 each on clearance as they said they were not going to carry them anymore. I have no idea if that is nationwide but at least at the Savannah store they weren't. I didn't have an extra bag to take with me to Wally World to compare with the dirt devil but for at least 20 months we are set for bags. We did order some Hepa bags from Intervacdesign and they tend to not smell as soon as the regular bags... Dave

Timothy, I have searched all over the website you provided and can't seem to locate the Dometic Vac Bags that Robbie was looking for, (I have the same system), Perhaps you could tell me where to find them, or do I need to call them????

Thanks.

Hard telling, as I haven't seen the Dirt Devil close up. The Dometic and the Intervac are almost exactly the same. I have seen both close up and other than the name I can't tell any difference. Dave

Also having a yellow lab, we are going through vacuum bags much quicker than Robbie and Alice. Guess I better get extras ordered now.

Received our order from Intervac. It only took them 3 days to get them to us. Great service.

Yes, they are an exact fit, even the picture of the vacuum on the front of the package looks exactly the same except for the name.

Thank you everyone for your help.
