Okie Guy, I bet when you weigh the rig you'll find the weight on the axles is less than the axle rating. You won't know for sure without weighing it, though. Our Montana weighs 14,620 total (scaled weight). Weight on the axles is 11,760. We have the 6,000 lb axles so we're close to the ratings but still below it.

Thanks guys. I am still in the clear. This was my loaded weight before I started chucking stuff out of the rv last weekend.

steering........4220
drive ..........6020
trailer.........8500
total weight...18740
