About 3 or 4 years, depending on where you live, wind, sun, how much you use the unit, etc.

You can purchase replacement fabric, even via CW. Tain't cheap and shipping is a buggar expensive. Then you have to put the fabric on, it is doable, but you do need to be careful that they don't do a fast unwind and catch skin, your skin. The guy that helped Al knew the trick, sorry, I don't remember what it was, rather simply and effective.

Took a couple of men to do ours, but actually had a couple more to help guide it back in, has to slide, along the side, they stood on the bed of a truck, and passed to the 2 guys on ladders.

Ours is 3 1/2 years old and we have been full time for over 2 years now. We just bought some repair tape as the edges were starting to fray in a couple of spots and there were a few small holes. We hope to get a few more years out of them. I think a lot depends on where you park. The high winds in south Texas or many of the coastal areas is hard on them. I have been told that replacing the fabric, without changing any of the hardware, is not to big of a job.

On our 3295RK they were ready for replacement at 4 1/2 years. Actually, they were probably ready sooner. At about 3 to 3 1/2 years I started taping edges as does mobrownies.

Opening and closing may have an impact but I think it's mostly amount of time open to the weather and also how much exposure to high wind. Keeping the slides closed helps, of course.
