We had a Class A with gelcoat, after 4 years it still looked new. Went to a tag-a-long with filon, in 6 years the white was yellow and that sucker was kept inside mostly and washed and maintained. Our new 3400RL is being built at this time and it will definately be gel, looks, durability. etc., etc.

The MH never showed black streaks and always looked fresh waxed, the filon was a maintance nightmare, always black streaked and surface scratched easily. For 200 lbs it's worth the weight and price. Pretty is better isn't it??

I have a 2001 Montana 2880RL. Which would mine be? Gel coat or the Filon. Is Filon a baked on enamel? My 5th wheel definately black streaks and takes frequent waxing and I find the end caps very hard to get a shine on.
