You guys are so funny! You can make any topic fun to read!
I can't believe that I grew up in CO and never went to the Black Hills!
Guess I was saving that trip, so I could go in a Montana?!
I also can't believe that a tank of propane costs $73 at that campground!
I'm wondering what kind of a sign it was. Could a two have been mistaken for a seven?
That would make more sense anyway.

While at the Spring Rally in Mt. Shasta it was cheaper in the RV Park ($2.50/gal) vs. driving 10 minutes into town and spending over $3.00/gal.

Before we left Florida we paid $21.00 for a 30# tank. Filled both of them. Once we got to Illinois, bought a 100# for $67.00. $73.00, hope it is a misprint!!

OK, I got the story today.
NEW PROPANE TANK PRICES
20LB TANK $44
30LB TANK $73
40LB TANK $93
I misread this to be NEW PRICES, but it is NEW PROPANE TANKS. And the $73 is a filled price. It seems so clear now...
