My approach is using algebra

Length of fish =X

Length of body = (3/4)X

Head = 4

Tail = 4 + (3/16)X
--------------------------------
Length of fish = (Length of body)+(Length of Head)+(Length of Tail)

Sub values:

X = (3/4X) + (4) + [(4 + (3/16)X]
X = (15/16)X + 8
(1/16)X = 8
X= 16 x 8
X= 128 ans(inches)

BEEN A LITTLE WHILE. THANKS FOR THE EXERCISE

Oh since X = 128
then

Length of Body = (3/4)X = 3/4 x 128 = 96 inches

Length of Tail = 4 + (3/16)X = 28 inches

Head is given at 4 inches
