Rear window screens?

I took a trip week before last and opened the windows in the bottom of the large rear window for the first time sinse buying it. I noticed it doesn't have screens. Is this normal or an oversight?

Oversight.

Any window in a Montana that slides open has screens. There are a couple (2 in my 2007 3400) that are "Emergency Exits" that don't have screens, but I it doubtful that those two small sliders in yours are designed for any type of emergency exit.

Except maybe for Rich's bird. But, based on his previous posts of the last year and a half, I don't think he's that concerned about an emergency exit for "the bird that hates him"...

These windows are the 2 crank up windows under the big window in rear.

All my crank up windows have screens. Sounds like an oversight at the plant, or maybe it flew off while towing...

The two crank-up windows under the large rear window on our unit are screened. They actually share one long screen. I would think yours was inadvertently omitted.

Dave and Cheryl,

Our emergency windows in the bedroom and the one over the desk both have screens on them. The lever slides through the screen and then locks. Ours is a 2006 so I don't know if they have stopped putting them in the new 3400's.

The screen is on the very inside of the Monty. We just put up solar stuff to help reflect out the sun today..... since we only have one AC.... my Christmas list will have a second AC on it.

Jrjones,

All of our windows in our 3400 have a screen on them even the kitchen window that is really little. All of the vents in the roof have screens as well.

Must have stopped, or they don't put them on dual pane emergency windows. Looks like the have an empty channel, though. Maybe they changed the design of the emerg. windows in 2007? My handles are on the end of the windows and they pull up parallel to the window, not perpendicular to it, so it couldn't slide through any screen - I don't think. Might need a pict.

The dual pane emergency window has never had screens on the 3400.
