About 5 mo's. ago I noticed water dripping from under the basement of our 3500RL. After a lot of searching, I found one of the clamps on one of the hoses on the water pump was loose. Tightened it at least 2 full turns. Dried everything up and OK. Yesterday, more water dripping. Same problem. Is there any way to secure these plastic hoses to the pump where they will not leak?
Thanks, Ron

Yes there is. I removed the hose, put a thin coating of silicone sealant over the male part then slipped the hose back on and tightened the clamp back down. Also, check to make sure there isn't a crack in the fitting that goes into the pump. A small hairline crack will drip. If that is the case, you need to replace the head on the pump. The head is about 1/2 price of a new pump and is installed really easy. In fact, "so easy a caveman could do it."
