We Boost RV cell booster

Anyone one running a WeBoost RV cell phone booster? I have one mounted to my rear ladder that extends about 12 inch inches above the roof line. I do not see a huge increase in power. QUESTION: Are those that are running this booster mounting the outside antenna higher for more power?

I have a WeBoost with the directional antenna that I mounted on a telescoping 5ft pole that I mount to the top of the ladder when I need it. I'd say it's about 16-17ft high and I get at least 1-2 bar increase depending on line of sight and distance from towers of course. I believe the short, low profile antennas have a limited range. You may be able to change out your outside antenna to a directional "Yagi" style antenna and extend your reach.

I bought a 16' Telescoping pole

And mounted the We Boost antenna on the end. I can clamp it to any slide out edge on my rig (using large wood working Clamps (from Lowes) , like clothes pins) to point it in the direction of the cell tower but not to cause interference (feedback loop) to the inside antenna.

I used the We BOOST pole to mount my satellite Dish.
I also have Flagpole Buddy on the ladder.

We have a Drive Sleek OTR that is used both at home and on RV trips for internet. It has a cradle that we mount our dedicated Visible phone in. The phone is teathered to a portable router.

At home, the signal goes from -104db (no booster)to -84db (with booster). It differs when on the road, depending on how strong the original signal is.
