Saw the unit at LazyDays in Florida. I was only able to take pictures with all the slides in. Looks like they are getting it ready for the Tampa RV Show in January.

Yep there are a lot of Pics of the inside and out all over the internet,Cool idea but just not for us just not enough counter space or big pantry like our 3735MK

After looking at pics on Keystone website it appears to have very little overhead storage and counter space in the kitchen and I also didn't see a pantry anywhere. Where is a person supposed to store anything?

I'm also not a fan of the front window. Who would want to wash the kitchen window after traveling before they could eat? I guess they could go with the option of just eating while looking at bug guts.

It's not for us.

Don't worry Dick, you can watch your news on the tv because the tv is directly down the center. I was able to sit and look at the tv.

The pictures of the kitchen sink, if you look between the living room slides you can see the tv.

Also, how about that basement in the 2nd picture. It's so narrow and you have that electrical panel sticking out. How the heck do you keep things from banging into it.

They are still using Tow max tires. The bathroom door is on a special swing in hinge and the outside steps are aluminum now.

Empty weight is 13,320lbs and max is 16,735lbs.

I like the idea of the window on the front cap to let in the light and give you an open feeling. But in reality I think it might turn out to be a big mistake. That is not a good place for a big piece glass. I can see a lot of chipped,cracked and broken windows from rocks getting kicked up and also the occasional low branch. Maybe they will come out with some type of cover you can attach to protect the window when traveling. It will be like having another windsheild to replace when a rock hits it....

My Sunline TT had a front window with a hinged cover. It worked well and protected the glass when underway. This is a much larger scale, of course, but it should be a consideration for Keystone. I think the floorplan is kinda cool. 5 slides but no superslide. I need a closer look at the basement though. I'll definitely be looking for this model at the Boston show. Not that I'm in the market, but it's good to keep up with what's going on.

Everyone seems to more upset with the window up front which is understandable. My biggest concern is the lack of storage. What can you expect to really carry. I know what I have now in my 3402 and have seen others basements filled with stuff. Lack of internal storage as well.

That is the biggest short fall than that window. At this point it doesn't matter if it had a front window or not, there's no storage, plain and simple.

If your a big person you may have a hard time with crawling in there to retrieve things or remove the wall for repairs.

I like the floor plan, but once again one would have to compromise in a big way. I like my stuff!

I have seen the window and I like it. As for bugs and rocks, its really no different than any class A, Truck , bus or any other vehicle on the road. They have scrubbers and squeeqes on long poles at every truck stop I purchased fuel at to clean truck windows, that would work very well at cleaning the window, and the glass is literaly a vehicle windscreen, so it is just as tough and impact resistant as all other vehicles on the road. As far as I can tell The Benefits and wow factor far outway a few inconveniences. Plus glass is easier to clean than gelcoat.

The old Alpha Gold Fifth wheels used to have a front window with a latching cover similar to a tagalong trailer.

If it will fit your individual needs then it is the model for you. We saw the front window on another brand and all we could think of was big juicy bugs, No thanks. We are long timers and spend a lot of time in this 3402 as with the 3400 before it. We need lots of storage. We did have front windows in two TT's but they had hard covers protecting them from bugs and chips.

Hey maybe someone will come out with peel off covers like they us in NACAR for the windows of the race cars. I've seen the model with the window in front but it had the living room up there instead of the kitchen. I kind of liked it but wondered what the possibility of condensation on that window and also where that moisture would go. They have also brought back the pop-up tv that raises in front of the window for the model I saw. Thought Keystone learned there lesson on the pop-up tv. Guess we'll have to wait and see on that one. I personally would prefer a dining table rather than the booth set up!

So.......what's wrong with the pop up TV? Just curious as I haven't heard or read about any issues.

I agree 100% what you are saying. Cleaning bugs off glass is by far way easier than the gelcoat and a painted surface. Plus a lot less gelcoat to take care of.

Now if Keystone really wants to be innovative, they should some how find a way to make the front have a Teflon coating!

Can't believe the front window has dominated this thread. Yes it's a love hate issue, but I would have thought that the tiny and very narrow basement would have generated more opinions.
