No power to the slides - 2010
I'm looking to buy a 2010, the owner is out of state. I brought a new fully charged battery with me but no power to the slides. It's my understanding that the battery disconnect in the service compartment does not disconnect the slides anyway. I get no signs of 12V life, lights, slides, etc.
Where do I start troubleshooting? I also can't find a breaker panel anywhere, isn't there supposed to be a panel somewhere that has both 120V and 12V breakers/fuses? Anyone know where the panel is?

We need to know what model you have to give you an idea of where the fuse box might be. Also, the battery disconnect can be confusing. If you can remove the switch then the disconnect is on.

This is all I know, I think there is a 4 or 5 digit Model number but I can't find it, will have to drive back to the park to get it.

I think usually there is a self resetting fuse on the wall in the battery area. Probably 2. One goes to the slide pump and the other to the rest of the rig, I think. These get weak and are also only 50 amp. Everyone (including Keystone) puts in 80 amp now. So I would find these and use a volt meter to see if both side show 12 v. If not, the fuse is bad. First place I would start.
Also, when battery connected and 'key' disconnect can NOT be removed, go inside and see if some of the lights work - most are 12V. If nothing inside, but fuses ok, then the main fuse box has a problem. There should be a black box (cover) somewhere inside near the center of the rig (usually near the stairs).

Every Montana I've owned had the fuse/breaker box easily seen when the door was opened. Look for a brown plastic cover, push and it should drop open
