love bugs

Florida has to be the love bug capital of the usa. Got out my ladder, pail, blue dawn, and love bug eraser pad this morning and cleaned off at least a thousand or more of them. So many that the front cap looked speckled at any distance. If you haven't tried the love bug eraser pad, do so as they are money well spent. John

We lived in Jax from 87 to 94...love bugs every year. Get them off your paint...they are tough on paint. Gotta get em off fairly quickly.

I think jcurtis is in Pensacola...per profile.... but they may winter down south to get away from the cold.

When we had a condo down there we seemed to find them every year and yes they will do damage to the paint if left on very long.

Hi

I had the boss lady’s car washed, waxed and detailed yesterday. By the time I got home you couldn’t tell.

Love bugs occur twice a year in florida...spring and fall. They are thick anywhere around charlotte harbor...port charlotte, punta gorda, and further south. If you drive up or down I75 right now, you will find them. John

Figures. Headed to Gulf Shores in about a week and we hit them every year. As many love bugs as 5th wheels kill you would think they would get thinned out.
