Leak in the bedroom
Well last night while here in the Dallas Texas area, we had a big rain of 3 inches that came down in about an hour. All was well until we went to bed and we found a slight drip in the ceiling next to the sliding closet door. My assumption is that it started at the seam between the front cap and rubber roof. While a warranty issue, we are set up for two months here and do not want to find a Monty dealer in this area. Would appreciate any recommendations of what type of sealant can be use between the two surfaces. Thanks

Eternabond tape - but that might do something to the warranty repair. If that's where it's leaking and you do decide to use the Eternabond, chances are real good it'll NEVER leak there again !!
Here's the best (cheapest) place to get it:

Buffpilot, I just resealed the front seam on mine yesterday. It is under warranty, but my dealer is 100 miles away, so I went to the Challenger dealer here in Clovis for recomendations. They sold me a tube of DICO Lap Sealant 501 self levelling. Mine wasn't leaking, but there were some voids in the sealant that looked like they could leak. I peeled off the old sealant in the areas I was concerned with, no easy task, that stuff is tough. I then spread the new sealant over these areas very liberaly. It did just what it said it would do, leveled out and sealed nicely. While I was up there, I touched up around the antenna and ladder. I have heard the Eternabond tape is very good, but I wonder if it may be too good and stick to the front cap, or rubber roof, so well it won't come off if needed.

Thanks guys, I will start the search. We are scheduled for some low 80's temps, so should be a good dry and warm day to do the repair. Thanks Again!

My bet is the Eternabond will NOT come off !! On our previous TT, I used the self leveling sealer and then covered that with Eternabond - never leaked again in 4 or 5 years.
