Outdoor light

I have a 2020 331rl and cannot get the outdoor light behind the hitch to operate. I know there is a switch on the light but does something else have to be switched to make this work? It could just be a failed bulb or faulty wiring. I wouldn't return this for a service call since I can probably repair it myself but I need to know if it is human error first. That is sometimes the hardest to fix. Thanks

If its the white one on wall above the battery compartment door, its probably the switch. You can take the cover off and clean it. It will work for a while but will fail again. If you are under warranty have them replace it. I did. No problems since.

That light is above the door that allows access to your battery. Open the front bay doors, look up there, and make sure wires going to the light are attached.

I know stranger things have happened, but you also might plug your camper into your truck and see if the light works. Although it should work like any other outside light, it's possible it got wired incorrectly and is active only when you are plugged into your truck (like your running lights). It's NOT suppose to be that way, but it takes nothing to check it. If that's the problem, then some new rewiring may be in order.

I'd check that first before tearing into anything else or replacing parts.

Good luck!
