Removed shower doors

We removed our shower doors. We were unable to keep a handle on the the one door and therefore not able to secure the doors for transit. I also got tired of cleaning the tracks. Here is the video we followed:

Note that there is a screw near the bottom of the shower so we had to adjust the end of the dam to fit around that.

Thanks for the pictures and video link. We have been thinking about doing that for a while.
We would like to use
Stromberg Carlson EXT-3542 Extend-A-Shower, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0031XXW4O...C2D9FFQEFXGCB6
But it is too short for the opening. I contacted them and they do not make any different lengths.
We also looked at
ROTATOR ROD Curved Shower Rod – Brushed Nickel | Rotating Curved Shower Rod – GREAT for Small Bathrooms | Shower Curtain Rod Curved In and Out | Stainless Steel Fits Standard Tubs 58.5”- 60" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GQ4TKFP...327C352YAS42H7
But it's a bit long and will need to be cut down to 44.75" for the shower opening. If we cut it down, how good will the "flip" in/out be?
Decisions, decisions...
