Question furrion tv channels found issue

Has anyone had trouble with the living area tv picking up channels that the bedroom tv picks up? When searching for cable stations on the front tv it sometimes finds channels and sometimes not. Even after they have been found they work then are gone when you go back at times.

Have experienced same issue when unit was new. Longer coax runs and additional connections leads to degradation of signal to front room television. I replaced the ends on every coax cable with better compression ends. Didn't eliminate the problem but really improved it.

When hooked to cable, we can only get analog channels but no digital channels. We do not have the booster on. Any suggestions?

Aofford, are you talking about cable or OTA channels? I think the biggest issue is the cheap TV's the companies put in our rigs. Reception is based on the quality of the receiver in each TV. Different TV's, different quality receivers. Cable should not have that issue, but you never know. The signal strength might be just under it's threshold.

See my 11/29/2018 post! It's the cheapest thing to try and will probably eliminate most of your issue.

Its cable I suspect that maybe it is a weak cable reception I will wait till our next camping trip and try it then. Hopefully that is all it is otherwise might just have to replace the TV. Thanks for answering

A different problem living room tv you can punch in the channel and it will go to the channel selected. Bed room tv will not go to channel selected you have to channel up or down and step through channels until you get the one you want. I spoke to Furrion and was told as long as I could get the the channel I wanted was normal and would not be covered under warranty

On my 305rl the second antenna out(from switch box you turn on behind bedroom tv)goes to a splitter then basement tv & living room tv. I removed it so full signal goes to living room.I don't use basement tv.If you remove screws holding switch box, it is right there.

yep, it happens.

it sounds like you are talking about channels coming in from an antenna (OTA).

TV channels

First make sure the booster button in the bedroom is turned off, this for over the air TV and it interferes with cable viewing.

We had a similar problem, only we couldn't get clear pictures through our Cable or Satellite when connected through the coach. We could get great pictures going through a window directly to the TV.

Camping World thought it was a splitter issue, and replaced that to no avail. Finally had to re-wire entire coach, now it works fine.
