day/night shades

I noticed that my day part of the day/night shades are starting to tear and sperate from the top bar that holds them together. I have two shades that are tearing on the upper right corner. Does anyone else have this problem and what did you do to fix it? Thanks.

Not the same problem, and you might be still under warranty, but, if all else fails....

I just took our big day/night shade to our dealer, it is under warranty for one year. Ours tore where the two go together on the upper right corner and two of the strings just shredded. They measured it and ordered me a new one.I have the silver insulation up on the window so it is blocked. Hope this helps.
