No Display on Lippert Electronic Leveling Panel

I currently have a 2022 Montana 3781RL 5th wheel camper with power but no display on the LIPPERT electronic leveling display (no model number identified). Campers Inn does not have a service technician that can look at or replace at my location so I need to know what, if anything, can be done to figure out how to operate the control panel in order to hook up to a vehicle.

I did search the forum for similar issues but only found leveling questions. If I missed a same or similar topic, please forgive me and post location.

Thank you

I'd try pulling the shore power and turn off the battery disconnect. Let sit for a few minutes and turn back on.

This from Goggle

If just the panel/display for your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Leveling System # LC358590 is blank then I simply recommend unplugging the panel itself from power. What you can do is just remove the panel and unplug it from the back. Leave it unplugged for at least 15 minutes until it completely shuts off. Sep 1, 2019

If the above suggestions don't pan out for you, try calling the Lippert technical department. I've called them myself for a non related matter. Very knowledgeable and helpful folks.

Download the Lippert NOW app from Google play store. Lots of good info, manuals, TSB, troubleshooting etc.
Lippert also has excellent help desk support.
Phone: 574-537-8900
Email: customerservice@Lci1.com

Here is a link to the troubleshooting manual

Folllow up

Foldbak - I spoke with Lippert and they did not think the “reset” would help in this instance since power is going to the module. They believe it is a faulty control board

Daryles - Your response was very helpful to me being a new owner and not knowing exactly where to turn for information. I called the number you provided and spoke with Kimberly J. ., She was able to provide the wiring diagram and walk me through the process and explained the wire color significance. The manual access location was tricky until I watched the video and knew what I was looking for.

I hope this post and illustration helps someone in the future with the same issue.

Did you resolve the issue?

Maybe I'm blind but I've read the post 3 times and I dont see where you say the problem is fixed or how you fixed it. All you said is they walked you though the process. The process is what will help others here on the forum.

Thinking the OP alluded to needing a either a replacement control pad or control module up in the overhead of the front bay. I'm not sure which though

Resolved

My original post, although not mentioned, implied that I needed to raise the jack legs to transport the camper.

Update
The controller needs to have a voltage check confirmed before Lippert will diagnose the display module as faulty and send a new one so that issue is still being resolved. I need to locate the solar shut off / disconnect switch before I can proceed

However, the discussion did lead me to being able to manually operate the jack legs so that it can be transported to a facility for repair.

Thank you for the assistance

Glad you got it sorted out enough to at least get your jack legs retracted manually. As Daryle stated, the Lippert Now app is a wealth of knowledge at one's finger tips.

Don't know which solar package you have, but on the lower end units such as ours, there isn't a switch to secure the solar power. The leads would have to be removed from the MPPT controller. Be careful as you would be dealing with live voltage.

If you could, set up a signature line from the User CP so that additional questions / suggestions can be readily answered. Good luck and let us know how you come out. There is a link on the brown banner bar near the top of the forum page.

Their is no dedicated solar disconnect. If you turn the battery disconnect on the giggy box to the off position and it will isolate the RV from the battery and solar.

Keystone confirmed there is no solar disconnect only removing the leads from the MPPT as you mentioned.

According to Lippert, the controller requires 12 volts to perform the diagnostic test so I can’t turn off the battery disconnect.

In my opinion, Keystone is a joke. They can’t provide schematics, diagrams, or anything that would be of assistance. They told me to call the dealership. But, that is another subject.

If you haven't already tried this please do.

Turn off the battery disconnect and the inverter disconnect of 15 minuets. Unplug shore power. Then turn them back on and press the level control panel power button. See if the display comes on.

Keystones website is very detailed and has all the links to the vendor equipment used in the build of their trailers. NO trailer manufactures provide a schematic snice any given model is constantly changing. The best they can do is provide a color code which they have.

Buy replacement from eTrailer.com. We have a 2013 unit. The LPI control panel has gone bad THREE times. Buttons quit or the display wouldn't turn on. Checked power coming to plug and was good. A mobile tech assisted once replacing several components. The solenoid had a crack, the forward control mounted to floor and the controller. Cost $1000 to repair. Yup, ripped me off big time! Last time it quit we used a jumper wire (remember jump starting cars with screwdriver?) to operate the hydraulic motor as we opened specific jack valves to extend & retract until we received the new panel. Lippert tech support (Jason) offered excellent guidance to diagnosis system and things are working normal again! Have seen some great youtubes explaining how to test system.

Small ribbon cable

If you can run jacks, and there is no displayThere is a small flat rib in cable that plugs into the display try pulling it out and reseating it,it has no pins, just just flat connectors. It gets a little corrosion and display don’t light up. This has happened to me, You save time and money. Hope this helps
