Type up a letter to the county as if you were the campground with the info that the county needs leaving the campground spaces to add the information, places to sign and date, Etc. Mail it to the campground and include a stamped addressed envelope for the campground to use to send it to the county. If the campground doesn't follow through with the mailing, there are lots of campground review sites to let the world know to stay away.

I'm with PhillG. They would have to subpoena me to the US Supreme Court before I'd pay them a nickel. What are they going to do to you?

They can make your life a living hell.....

Consequences of Tax Warrant

Although being hit with a tax warrant will not result in your arrest, it is likely to show up on your credit report and title searches, in local newspapers and business journals, and on the tax bureau's website. This is in addition to potential property loss. You also can have your wages garnished, your property seized and sold at public auction, and bank accounts levied. Interest, penalties and collection costs also are added on to your original tax debt. The way to avoid a tax warrant is to contact the state and resolve any outstanding tax balances as soon as possible.

My followup and last post on the subject.

All attempts to resolve this via emails and phone calls to the county and to the campground failed. Went from runaround to ignored emails and voicemail messages.

Letter with all the facts and pertinent info went out certified with return receipt to the tax assessors office yesterday.

Cost me almost $20 in postage alone. That's the last NC will get from me!
