Tire problems are never fun, they can even be downright stressful when you are far from home and don't know anything about the tire shops in the area. I hope to ease that stress a bit with this post.

Knowing how frustrating it can be looking for a reputable tire shop, I have asked for and received permission from the MOC Administrators to post the Tire Pros website below.

Tire Pros is a nationwide franchise of independent tire dealers, myself included, with one common goal. That goal is to maintain the highest degree of professionalism, offer the highest quality products at reasonable prices, and back everything we do with our nationwide network of dealers.

After opening the link you will notice several tabs at the top of the page. Clicking on the Dealer Locator tab will open a page where you can search for a dealer closest to you. When the dealers are displayed, you can click on them to get information about their shop, and a map with directions. You can also leave feedback about the dealer on that page if you want to.

I should have been keeping track, over the last 4 years, how many times you have helped people on this forum. (But then I have only so much disc space

)
Thanks to you I found a dealer only 67 miles from here so I feel good about changing the tires when I get the Montana.

Thanks once again, Lonnie. I used that link and located two dealers within reasonable distance. One is less than two miles and the other about 35 miles. The farther one has given me the best quote so far and will likely get our business unless someone beats his price. Thanks again for posting this link.

Orv, I think I just missed ya'll when I too went by that reputable tire dealer, by the RR tracks,-- last year, I believe.
