Camp Verde Az - Gallup and Santa Fe NM

Currently in Camp Verde visiting Sedona, etc. Leaving Monday for Gallup NM for 5 days and then onto Santa Fe. Then we will be heading South to Texas for Thanksgiving to visit family.

We fly back east from Vegas (leaving our Big Sky at a dealer for warranty work). When we return in January we head down to Quartsite for the Montana gathering and then on to Yuma if we can find a place to stay for awhile.

Life is good.

Great areas! We spent April-May in the areas you're visiting (UT, AZ, NM). Hope you drove Oak Creek Canyon nroth of Sedona? Gorgeous. Hang onto your credit cards in Santa Fe. So many galleries w/gorgeous stuff/art. suggest seeing Bandolier NP north of Santa Fe, and eat at Rancho de Chimayo for a hacienda experience. Good Margaritas, good food, and nice people. Also, best margaritas at Maria's on Cordova in Santa Fe. Good food, good prices, but very popular little place. Get reservations or get there early! The miracle staircase is also very pretty and interesting. Have fun!!!

When we were in Gallup we took day trips to Hubbell Trading Post and Canyon de Chelly in AZ. Both worth the trip. Enjoy
We are heading south, also. Right now near Raton, NM, going back to Las Vegas, NM, may check out Santa Fe, always just pass through. Now I guess I'll just have to go for a margarita. I know what you're saying about the galleries, etc. Sadona is the same, but what a beautiful country we live in and we are thankful that we can enjoy it in our Montana. We have no destination or itinerary, except for Thanksgiving in Mesa, and Quartzsite in January. Save travels to all. Judy
