Hi,
ever notice how the rock chips and bugs accumulate on each side of the front storage door. went to a local metal sales place and got a quarter sheet of 0.60 aluminum dimond plate being 24" x 96". a little modification with a jig saw and fitted it between the weather strips and around the compartment door. attached it with silcon sealant and some 1/4-20 carriage bolts to the fiberglass.
easy low maintenance way to protect the lower front of my Montana.
my insentive was after a bad rock crack, cost $300.00 to repair.
aluminum cost like $80.00.
aluminum is a lot easier to clean than fiberglass.
my two cents,
