I-81 overnight areas

we are traveling from Lynchburg, VA to CT via I-81 in PA. We want an overnight area such as a truck stop or WallyWorld. Any suggestions? We had planned on stopping at Hersey near Harrisburg for a few days but Thousand Trails was booked up so we decided to push thru to CT. Don't want to go to far into PA before stopping. Thanks in advance!!

There is a Passport America Campground around Harrisburg. If you go under the PA site it has a map with close interstates by it to give you an idea of where it is. I have never been there but considering it if we go to Goshen. It is $18.00 a night. Let us know if you go that route what it was like.

The only one that will be convenient for you is in Carlisle at Exit 226. The other one on 81 is almost to NY. the other 2 are way out of the way if you are headed to CT. I'm headed out of Gettysburg the same way on Friday.

The Wally World in Hagerstown MD is just off I-81 about 1/2 mile. Last time I was there, about 1 1/2 years ago, there were about 10 rigs spending the night.
