floppy slide topper

I have dometic slide toppers. After a recent rain they sagged in the middle forming a little lake on top of each slide. Now that they are dry they are still sagging. I have retracted and extended the slides thinking they would tighten up, but they still sag. I did not get any owners manual on the toppers. Does any one know how to adjust the tension?

Les, I have had mine for three years and have the "rain droop", I have retensioned several times and that doesn't seem to help in the middle of the slide fabric. I think it is the nature of the beast. After a good rain I climb up and brush the water off but they still sag. Good luck and please post if you find something that works.....Thanks

Les, I we have the same issue and do what Phil suggested.
Also, watch the ends of the fabric where it attaches to the wall. Because of the droop, now when the wind blows the fabric is getting worked to the point where it could start to pull apart as ours did.
Others on the forum suggested repairing the damaged area with eternabond tape which I plan to do this week. It may not be abad Idea to reinforce the area before it tears.

We just replaced our covers and it was really easy. Ours were 2001 and needed it bad. This company we got them thru did a great job making them. The fabric is abit heavier than factory. Heres the link http://www.rv-motorhome-answers.com/...ut-topper.html
