Shock replacement
Has anyone replaced the stock OEM shocks on their Monty, and if so did you upgrade them with something better or stick with the OEM's. If you upgraded, with what did you upgrade them with and can you tell the difference. I would assume that the OEM shocks are not the best.

Rich I'm also interested if someone found an upgraded shock. I've had mine off and they still have some live left in them, but plan on new ones soon. Have you put new shocks on the truck? If not that will make a big difference in the total ride. Monroe shock is what Ive found as a replacement for the camper.

I just replaced the shocks on the truck about a month ago with Bilsteins and now I am looking to do the same with the Monty.

Rich I changed my 05 GMC to Bilsteins this summer! The only shocks that I could find for the camper are Monroe Gas Magnum number 555001. There around $32.00 each, there is a rebate till May 31. I could not find a way to cross them over to another shock?
