Isn't that a nice park? We've not stayed there but since the park on Tybee Island is now high rent, our next trip to Savannah will find us at Skidaway. We really liked what we saw of that park.

Steve, I could really spend some time here. We have been doing nothing but sightseeing so have not had much park time. We did take our dog to the beach, off leash, dog park and she had a ball. Many trails to explore also. Would be a great place to take grandkids, if I had any.

Phil, we've been to the area (Tybee Island) twice, two months each time (winter). We truly enjoyed the area and didn't run out of things to see and do within day trip distance. We will be back someday.
Those trails in Skidaway you speak of are interesting walks. On one is the remains (not a lot) of a still that operated way back when. The hatchet marks in the drums are visible, the ones the revenooooers put there.
