Galesburg to Kutztown 862 miles?

Now ya all smile at ole Carole FIRST before I start, I am still on that first cup of java.

OK, I was lookin at the Regional Rallys being scheduled,

Do I not see Great Lakes around Memorial Day, and do I not see one in Kutztown PA May 31st??

I looked at my 07 calendar and discover Memorial Day is the 28th of May.

I did a S & T route, and get 862 miles between the two.

Ya know, from where we sit, either is a possible, and have talked about both.

Notttttttt, sure, I want to do both with a 3 day run between em.

Shoot guys. Don't want to complain, or shoot our volunteers in the foot, but maybe we could try to avoid such close scheduling in the future?? Now, I gotta make a choice . And, that is saying I can get CountryGuy to move Tana after our long timing stint in RGV (God willing and the creek don't rise.)

This is not posted to offend, insult or annoy our moderators, administrators or organizors. Just something I thought we could try to remember in the future.

Well add in the Branson rally and you'll really be doin some squeezing.

My agenda as it sets right now...
On or around the first week of May leave Clearwater Florida.
Arrive at Branson on May 13th and leave on the 20th.
Arrive on or about the 23rd at the GL rally.
Leave the GL rally May 28th for the NE rally near Kutztown
arriving on May 30th or 31st. Leave PA around June 10th for a short visit to northern NY
That's roughly 2500 miles and than by mid July be in Redmond Oregon after which
We will be slowing down for the balance of the season. That is until September when we
once again head out for Indiana and the annual MOC rally in Goshen.

BUT I do have one question..
I haven't seen or heard anything about the GL rally since September.
Is it still going to happen or not??

Glenn, there is a post under GL area about a May 07 Rally. That is what I was going on in earlier post, have not heard more.

Wish we could keep up with ya on that schedule, but, looking like we won't be doing much of this. Surely not the Branson one.

Maybe one of the others, CountryGuy needs to contemplate.

Carol, That's the post I was refering to. Since the thread was started on Sep 27 2006 there has been no further information concerning the rally. I am now wondering if the GL rally is a go or a no go.

BTW-I also feel having 3 rallys scheduled that close together is a bad idea but I am willing to try to work them all in.
