The Sailuns are part of the recall, therefore need replacing. The store I got them from recommended the Gladiator as they are having problems getting the Sailuns.
As the Sailuns are part of a recall
Im not sure I want to stay with them. Thx for your educated response.

The Sailuns are a solid tire. We've had excellent service from ours, and they are not part of the Viet Nam plant recall. Once you get yours replaced with new Sailuns, you will be riding on dependable tires.

Looks like Sailuns are still available on Amazon. I didn't check other online sources but I would likely stick with what I know to be a good tire.

Dick,
Recommend you contact Kara at kroberts@tbccorp.com for help getting your recalled Sailuns replaced.
Sailuns are still the gold standard for heavy 5th wheels.

Thx. Have been in contact with Sailun direct and tbc. TBC would only direct me to authorized dealers. I will forward your info to my dealer as well as trying to contact her direct. TBC seems to be a little backlogged in returning calls. At least that’s what my dealer said. I will try calling and emailing. Will
also share info with dealer.
Amazon is not an option considering this is a recall.

Dick,
Have you googled up all the Sailun dealers in your area and talked to them? I had to drive 100 miles but found a dealer that got me in and out quickly.

I do have names supplied to me by the company handling the recall for Sailun. I’m trying to work with the dealer I bought the tires from. I’m not going anywhere until May so lots of time. Thx

Thx. You’re the first negative comment. I have every intention of staying with Sailun, if I can get them.

Try Simple Tire. They had them in both sizes a week ago. 80's and 85's.

The dealer I purchased my Sailuns from is now working with Kara at TBC. She is keeping me informed as to their progress. Hopefully it will be sooner than later and we will get our new Sailuns.

I just ordered four new Sailuns from Walmart and they will be here Monday. So they are definitely out there.

Tires
We had new sailun tires on ours when we bought it, the good ones I guess and I'm so far very pleased with them. I've ran Michelin for years on our old camper and never had a problem once I got rid of the china bombs. I think most that have the older Sailun tires are very happy with them, it's the new once that they had a problem with. You hear all sorts of things about all tires and I suppose a bit has to do with how you care for your tires has a lot to do with it also. Running on low or high pressure is not good and always cover your tires when not running down the road! I ck my tire pressure prior to leaving every morning and also look them over very carefully for any sort of road damage. I hate sitting along side the road waiting for help in hot temps with traffic flying by at 90 MPH. Try to find some new Sailun tires and I don't think you will be disappointed. Also if you don't have a tire monitoring system, get one ASAP. Peace of mind is worth every dollar you will pay for one. Enjoy, have a great time and be safe out there amongst them!!!
