Paint code

Well, at some point on our local outing, I scraped some paint from the front cap of our Montana. Front off door corner…. Never even knew I had hit something until I stopped to dump the tanks and do my walk around before leaving the campground.
I have a body shop owner as a golf buddy and he said if I can get the paint color he will sand, prime and paint it for me. How do I find the paint color? Hopefully from the VIN? 2019 3121RL legacy with full body paint. I need the base color (primary or main color). It is a light, creamy brown or tan.

As always, thanks in advance for your assistance!

Byron

I'd love to get those paint codes too! Didn't find anything in the files section. I was able to get a paint code for Sherwin Williams Automotive Paints some time ago, but our local Sherwin Williams in Jacksonville, FL couldn't match up the code to anything they could recognize. They suggested bringing in a door panel or the whole rig and they would color match it. I still haven't gotten round to it.

Byron,
Not sure about yours, but our 2021 FBP has the codes on a sticker on the entry door jamb.

Yeah, the Full Body Paint models are different color schemes. I wish I had that on my rig, though. It really seems to hold up better to the elements.

About 4 years ago, my king ping area made contact with my truck bed rails and put a crack in the lower drivers side corner. I was able to fix it myself with a Bondo Fiberglass repair kit, but color matching the paint never happened. I searched all over my camper from top to bottom a thousand times now and there is absolutely nothing posted anywhere with color codes, except on the awning roller which is the awning nomenclature.

I contacted Keystone and they would not give it to me. I contacted my dealership, and another dealership, and another dealership, and they said they couldn't (or wouldn't) give me the codes. I contacted Sherwin Williams and they said I had to bring a sample in (that's kind of hard to put a 41 foot, 13 foot high vehicle under their little scanning machine you know)....

I finally had to abandon color matching and simply used a color that blended with the existing color scheme and painted a large enough section it looked like it fit. It worked. Unless it's pointed out to you, you'll not notice the color difference.

All I can say is, good luck with the color code. You can take to to an automotive body shop or a boat repair shop and they can probably match it pretty good. I don't know why Keystone is such a pain in the neck sometimes!

Ok, it seems you can only upload .PDFs to the files section so I'll attach the screen shots here.
I have heard some have had success taking the codes to Sherwin Williams to get a match.

Thanks! The 2019 chart you posted is the same one I got today from a local Montana dealer. The Oyster is actually the light, main color on our rig.

Thanks Daryles! I'll see if I can get some touch up paint for my 2019.
