in Command CM replacement or repair

Had trouble closing my living room slides this weekend and after exstensive troubleshooting I have it narrowed down to a either an issue with the HMI inside or a bad output point on the CM. The coil test and works fine on the solenoid and the wires ohm good from the CM. Also tested the relay which is good.

When you fire the Hydralic room at the HMI , the HMI disconnects and goes through a reconnect status then comes back on. This also happens withe the wires lifted at the CM for the solenid and the relay removed.

Does anyone know where I can get an elementary drawing for the HMI and CM?

I can't find the output that fires the reversing contactor for the hydralic pump to eliminate that output as a problem.

Also it would not operate in manual on the board.

I doubt you will get a schematic for the BCM or the DC... what version of In command are you using?

ProPlus JVRCS2?
PRO JVRCS105?
Gen 1.0 JVRCS1?

or latest Global connect NCSP3 or NCSP35?

Also you realize that NOT ONLY must the dual polarity solenoid get a "12 volt DC signal) at either extend or retract terminal .. the HYDAC valve for the hydraulic slides (only one) has to also receive 12 volts DC to its coil to energize the solenoid on the slide out HYDAC and open it for fluid flow to occur

I was able to use the wires from the left jack solenoid and close the slide so I know the valve is working. But I can't locate the output that fires the reversing contactor for the pump. The wire are doubled at the coil on the contactor so I figure on set is from the leveling panel and the other is from the BCM

One set of wires on extend and retract sides of dual polarity solenoid is for slide outs and other is for level up system…

That’s an old BCM so you may have troubles getting a new replacement

Pin out of BCM which you probably already have

Since you know the Hydac is working did you try removing wires from Hydac output on the BCM and try operating from the display panel to see if it disconnects still?

You may have a short or open on those two wires

Probably your best bet is to call ASA Jensen In Command Tech support and they may be able to further assist you... may be tough getting a new panel if its smoked

Can the BCM and DC be purchased not going through a dealer if it's the problem? Just thinking ahead, but I have heard so many horror stories I have reapired everything on my Montana since day one.

Worst case if you cant repair the BCM .. if thats the issue is you could install a separate momentary on dual pole switch to handle the outputs for 12 volts to both the HYDAC valve and dual polarity solenoid Extend/Retract terminals on the solenoid
